Michael Fresquez

February 9, 1970 — March 30, 2022

Michael Fresquez – our beloved son, father, uncle, nephew, and cousin passed away on March 30, 2022 at the young age of 52.
Born to Johnny Fresquez and Margie Castillo-Bolton on February 9, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mike grew up in West Jordan where he spent most of his life. As a kid, Mike excelled in sports. He was a talented baseball and football player.
Mike will be remembered as a great friend. He welcomed everyone with open arms and made sure others were taken care of. He was loving, compassionate, generous, and humble. He gave everyone his full attention and made sure every person felt important.
“Limo Mike,” as he was known, loved seeing people have fun. He owned a limousine company and took pride in showing others a good time. Mike also had a classy sense of style and was dressed for any occasion, looking his very best.
Mike loved cracking jokes and pulling pranks! He made everyone laugh with his contagious sense of humor.  While Mike had endless memories with many people, his most special moments were spent with his son, Tysen. Many of their weekends were spent at motocross races where Tysen competed. Mike was always on the sidelines cheering for Ty. He loved his son very much!
He also loved his sister Julie, and brother Greg, immensely. Together, they made memories that will last a lifetime!
If he wasn’t driving his limo or hanging out with Tysen, Mike was golfing, fishing, playing pool, or going places with his friends. He also loved his cat “Bugsy” very much and would do anything for him.
Words can’t express how much Mike means to our family. Our hearts are forever broken by his passing and he will be sorely missed.
Our family would like to thank the staff and nurses at South Valley Dialysis Center for their special care and friendships over the years.
Mike was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Ignacita Fresquez; Grandfather, Samuel Fresquez; Grandmother, Amada Castillo; Grandfather, Jose Castillo; Stepfather, Charles Bolton; and numerous close relatives.
He is survived by his father, Johnny Fresquez; mother, Margie Castillo-Bolton; son, Tysen Fresquez; daughter, Mary Howick; sister, Julie Fresquez; brother, Greg Florez; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
