Melody Ann Medley Lema

November 5, 1957 — September 16, 2017

With heavy hearts we say goodbye to Melody Ann Medley Lema who unexpectedly passed away on September 16, 2017 from an Aortic Dissection. She was born to Robert and Ruth Johnson Medley on November 5, 1957, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended Brighton High School and Apollo College. She served her country honorably in the U.S. Air Force as an F15 Crew Chief. Melody worked in the medical field for 35+ years. Her last position was with the IHC Budge Clinic in Logan, Utah. She loved what she did and everyone she worked with. Melody was an avid puzzle master, ice cream fanatic, coffee drinker, theater goer, and as everyone at the Budge Clinic knows…a chocoholic! She was first married to Bruce Vondwingelo and then to Doug Lema, both later divorced. She leaves behind her children: Gina Vondwingelo and Dustin (Laura) Lema; siblings: Michele (Don) Jaco, Lou (Mattie) Medley, Lynnette Medley, Linda (Steve) Bross, and David (Sarah) Medley; three very spoiled grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Come join us for a celebration of Melody’s life, Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at 351 West 1600 North, Logan in the clubhouse, come share stories, chat, and eat chocolate. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to your favorite charity.
