Melodi Fortson, age 8 months, died on March 22, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born July 18, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Isaac and Sarah Fortson.
Melodi and her twin sister were born at 25 weeks gestation. They spent 4 months in the NICU before getting to come home.
Melodi is survived by her parents, Isaac and Sarah; grandmother, Grace Matus; grandparents, Samuel and Janice Gilbert; and aunt and uncle, Felecia and Dakota Gilbert. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Eugene Luis Matus.
