Melissa Hemsley

Melissa Hemsley, 56, died of complications of ovarian cancer on March 31, 2020. She is the daughter of Gaylen Hemsley and Martha Fitzpatrick of Salt Lake City. She enjoyed bullet point journaling, cooking, sewing, and reading. Melissa completed two missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the Family History Center, British Isles. She is survived by siblings Lorie (Dan) Hemsley, Thomas (Julie) Hemsley, nieces/nephews Monica, Jennifer, Aaron, and Tommy. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Mathew Hemsley, grandparents Catherine & Thomas Fitzpatrick, Ellen & Richard Hemsley, and aunt Kathryn Hemsley.
Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, April 3, 2020, 11:00 a.m., Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 84123.
