Melinda Ann Bowcutt

Mindy had an enormous heart and love for everyone. Her capacity to care for and comfort others knew no bounds.  Mindy was born March 11, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah and passed away at her home on the morning of April 23, 2019.  She was the fourth child of Vaughn and Carol Bowcutt.  Mindy had a happy childhood.  She graduated from Olympus High School and spent her career at Kyden Machine with her father and brother.  Mindy married Hal David Stoker in 2009, they separated in 2014.  In 2013 Dave and Mindy welcomed Aspen Ann in to their lives.  Aspen was the absolute joy in Mindy’s life and she adored her with all of her heart.  Mindy was preceded in death by her mother, Carol, who we know is now welcoming her with open arms.  Mindy is survived by her daughter Aspen Stoker, her father Vaughn Bowcutt and step mother Judith Rae Bowcutt, siblings Julia (Richard) Beynon, Brad Bowcutt, Jason Bowcutt and nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Mindy had a loyal group of friends, which loved her, stayed close and helped her in many ways.  The family is grateful to Mindy’s close friend Amanda Van Ostrand, Aspen’s birth mother, for opening her family and her home to Aspen.
A celebration of life will be held in Mindy’s honor on Saturday, May 18th from 2:00 to 4:00 at 4950 South 900 East, Murray, Utah (West side of 9th East, Follow the Signs).
