Melba Jean Phillips Davis passed peacefully with loved ones by her side on November 5, 2020.  Her 91 year old body traveled as far as it could.  She has gone home to be with her eternal companion Don Edward Davis and her eldest son.  She was born Sept. 20, 1929 in SLC to Dora Tucker Phillips and Charles Leo Phillips, married Don Edward Davis, Mar. 31, 1948.
A homemaker, baker, gardener, lover of flowers, clothes maker, Lion House recipe book writer and after retiring from many years of service at the Lion House in SLC, UT, she took up painting.  Her painting talent blessed us all with the pictures her children and grandchildren now hang in their houses.  She was truly blessed with many talents and was always busy.  She had a great love for her family and was a loyal friend to many.
