Melba Cazier

Melba Tolley Cazier, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 13, 2016. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend will be greatly missed. Melba was born on September 24, 1926, in Nephi, Utah to Claude and Verlie Tolley. She married Clifton Cazier, the love of her life, February 5, 1946, in Nephi Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. She attended school in Nephi.
Melba has three loves in her life. Cliff, her children, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a lifelong active member of the church serving in many calling including Relief Society President for Rose Park 10th Ward, and serving two years as an Ordinance Working in the Salt Lake Temple. Melba devoted her early married years to raising her children. Once her children has graduated from school, Melba worked for the Kedman Company, retiring in 1991 after nearly 24 years. She loved studying the LDS gospel (36 years in the same study group), dancing (spending many weekends at the Organ Loft), crocheting and cooking. She also was actively involved with the Daughter of Utah Pioneers organization, serving many positions.
Melba is survived by her sons, Ray (Judy) Cazier of Spokana, WA and Michael Cazier of Erda, Utah; Ten grandchildren and 17 Great grandchildren. She is prededed in death by her parents, husband, Daughter Vicki, son Randy, brothers Jack (Lois) Tolley, Glen (Josephine) Tolley, and Kenneth (Royolla), sisters Florence (AL) Graff, and Margaret (Chess) Williams.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Park 10th Ward, 760 North 1200 West, Salt Lake City Utah. A viewing will be held for friends and family Saturday February 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Rose Park 10th Ward and Friday February 26, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Redwood Memorial 6500 South Redwood Road.Service Information
