Mayoora Soratana

Mayoora Soratana, age 93, passed away on Novemeber 20, 2019 in West Valley City, Utah. She was born on December 11, 1925 to Sir Jeynjit Mandjit Montsachi and Lamay Chatchotiwong in Bangkok, Thailand. She was married to Udom Soratana.
Mayoora loved to cook and always made sure anyone who came to her house had a full meal before they left. She also worked as one of the chefs for the King’s #7, 8, and 9 of Thailand.
She is survived by her 10 children; Major General Pheiylert, Adul, Araya, Usabadee, Acharachavee, Major General Manoosiri, Manonkiti, Pastor Peerapat, Natalee, Siraya, 20 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 12:00 at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary located at 3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights. A viewing will be held that morning from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, followed by the graveside service.
