Max Ostermiller

March 2, 1940 — May 29, 2018

Max Ostermiller passed away peacefully on May 29, 2018 in Draper Utah due to a short illness.
Dad was born in Newdale Idaho on March 2, 1940 to George and Katie Ostermiller. He was the youngest of 13 kids and was babied by his mother. Dad was raised in Newdale and spent his days on the family farm with his brothers and sisters. He graduated from Sugar City High School where he discovered his love of football. In his early years he worked for U & I Sugar, sold insurance, Amway and served as a police officer in Rigby Idaho to mention a few. Ultimately he retired after 17 years as a security officer from the LDS church in Salt Lake City Utah.
Dad loved sports, especially the Utah Jazz and BYU football. He was known as being a jokester, flirting with the ladies and for telling corny jokes.
Dad is loved by us all. He is survived by his 6 children Doug (Nancy), Christine (Tom), Mitzi (Mike), Nathan (Jesie), Clint, Molly (Nick), 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 sister Beverly Jenkins. He is preceded in death by his parents and 12 siblings.
“We love you dad” “GO COUGS!!”
