Maureen Larsen Sloan

Maureen Larsen Sloan, our sweet Mom, Grandma, sister and friend passed away on January 10, 2019. She was born on June 23, 1933 to Gladys Hepworth and Kenneth Larsen. She married Donald Sloan Sr on November 16, 1948. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Mom loved her five children and their spouses: Bernice and Robert, Donnetta and Michael, Donald and Annette, Kenneth, and Debbie and Mark. Her grandchildren were very special to her. She cared about her siblings: Claudia, Norman, Wendle, and Carol. Maureen is preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband, son Donald, grandson Brandon, and sister Claudia.
The family expresses a special thank you to South Jordan Paramedics and Fire Department, Doctors and Nurses at Riverton Hospital. We were often told how kind and sweet our Mom was. We love you Mom and Grandma (G-ma). We will miss you.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the LDS Church located at 1570 West 11400 South, South Jordan, Utah at 12:00 with a viewing from 10:45-11:45.
