Matthew Clark

Matthew Jason Clark, born August 30, 1977, died January 31, 2016 leaving behind his children Madison and Carter who were the joy of his life, and who will look up to him and always know he was their foundation; His parents Patricia Sheffield and Mark Smasal, Jerry and Michelle Clark; his supportive and loving brother Zack (Amie) Clark; and Matt’s wife Nichole.
Matt will be remembered for his kindness, patience and sense of humor. He was a gentle and sensitive soul and a loyal friend. No one will ever forget his contagious smile.
A memorial service will be held Monday, February 8th at Mountain View Mortuary 3115 E 7800 S. Visit with Matt’s family and friends beginning at 10:30 with services beginning at 11:00. During the service friends will be invited to share brief remembrances of Matt with those present, including his children.
His family, especially his children have suffered an unexpected loss. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established at https://www.gofundme.com/Maddie-Carter to benefit his children and support them as they move through life without him as their constant.
