Masakazu “Sok” Shiba, 87, passed away on December 24, 2014 with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 18, 1927, in Clinton, UT to Masazo and Riye Shiba. Sok married Shizue Fujinami on April 26, 1966.
He is survived by his wife, Shizue and children Connie Kawai (John), Rise Hirabayashi (Dean), Kenny (Natsuko), Maria Kelly (Kier), Scott (Jennifer) and 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Mariye Shiba and Masako Endo. Special thanks to Edith Carcamo and the staff at University of Utah Neuro Critical Care.
Viewing will be held at Murray Memorial, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, UT on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Private interment will be at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
