Marylin T Richards

Marylin T. Richards, age 80, died on March 2, 2018, in West Jordan, Utah. She was born on June 10, 1937 in Payson, Utah to William Sterling Tanner and Helen Benson. She married Carl Leon Hodges in 1960, they later divorced.
Marylin was a Member of LDS Church; served as Relief Society President, and various other callings. She worked at the Redwood Multi-Purpose Center (later Kearns Day-Care Center), for 30 years. She loved to serve others, especially her grand-children and the little ones from the day-care. She liked to read and to crochet, and made over 1,000 little hats for new-born babies.
Marylin is survived by her Sons, David Hodges (Susan), Richard Hodges, and Scott Hodges (Kathy) of Salt Lake City; sister Penny B. Jensen of Brigham City; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Parents and grandparents (Milton G Benson and Otey L. Benson); Karl G. Benson, brother; Jackie Haslam, sister; and Dennis Tanner, brother.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the LDS Park Pointe Ward, 8539 South 2200 West, West Jordan, Utah, at 12:00 noon. Viewing will be at that address from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to the service.
Internment: At Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
