MaryAnn Pennock Bruce born on November 12th, 1953, to Frank and Arlene Pennock died peacefully surrounded by those she loved on November 1st, 2022. She grew up in the Salt Lake Valley and graduated from Highland High School where she met the love of her life Gary Bruce. They were married on August 23rd, 1974. They had 2 daughters that she thought could not be more perfect, oh and a couple grandkids, she thought they were pretty great.
If you knew MaryAnn, you loved her. She was a friend to everyone and always wanted to take care of those around her. She had the best sense of humor and you couldn’t help but leave any interaction with her with a smile. She was fortunate enough to go on many adventures with the love of her life and good friends. But her pride and joy were her family. She had such a love for her husband, daughters and her grandkids and was happiest when with them.
MaryAnn was preceded in death by her mom Arlene, dad Frank, and brother Robert. She is survived by her husband Gary, daughters Jennifer (Max) Bunker, Ashley (Chris) Milne, sister Linda (Dave) Johannessen, brother David (JoAnne) Pennock, and Grandchildren that she loved so much. She will be missed by all; she touched the lives of everyone she met.
Special thanks to all of those at Lone Peak Hospital that cared for our mother and treated her with kindness and love.
