Mary Trissa Peleshka

Mary Trissa Peleschka “GaGa” Passed away May 15, 2022 at her home from complications with health problems. Trissa was born September 05, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah; the only daughter to William Monté Anderson and Beverly Joyce Anderson (Blanke) Trissa grew up in Draper, Utah with her 3 brothers.  When Trissa was 15 years, her and her family were fortunate enough to spend 2 and a half years in Majorca, Spain. During that time, her and her siblings attended an English-speaking private school.  Upon returning home Trissa attended and graduated from Jordan High School in 1968. Trissa married Jim A. Rizzuto in March, 1970. Together they had four children. They later divorced in 1985. She then married Wolfgang Peleschka, on October 20, 1986 together they enjoyed 36 years together.  Wolfgang was a devoted husband who lovingly cared for her until her passing.
 
Trissa worked several years for ZCMI where she made many lifelong friends. She loved nothing more than shopping or finding a great sale. Trissa was a talented seamstress and had a love of quilting. She put her many talents to use with her generous contributions to charitable organizations such as Festival of Trees or a fundraiser for someone in need or a thoughtful gift for a friend or beloved family member. Trissa had the gift of gab making her a friend to all. In her younger years you could often find her enjoying time with her grandkids who she loved very much.
 
She is survived by her husband, Wolfgang Peleschka of South Jordan; her four children, Jim Rizzuto of Taylorsville, Jake (Leigh) Rizzuto of South Jordan, Rachel Staveley (Matt Ellis) of Woodscross, Katie (Clifton) Nicholson of West Jordan, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both her parents Monté and Beverly Anderson and her brother Robert Anderson.
 
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May 24, 2022 at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 4200 west Skye Drive (9800 south) South Jordan Utah with a viewing held one hour prior at 10:00am. Interment will be at Memorial Lake Hills Cemetery following services located at 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah.
