Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 03/29/16 at home. She was born on 05/13/1928 in Conejos, Colorado to Joseph and Simplicia Jiron. Mary enjoyed gardening, reading, and was always caring and devoted to her family in any season of life. She was such a blessing as a wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. Mary loved unconditionally all of her life demonstrating God’s love to many people. She enjoyed praising the Lord in music with the love of her life Robert. We will miss her, always remembering her with much love. What a blessing to of had you in our lives.
Mary is survived by her children Robert Tafoya Jr, Roy (Sarae) Tafoya, MaryAnn (Robert “Lefty”) Espinosa; Grandchildren Paul, Misty (Reggie), Ruth, Sasha, Tara, Celia, Michelle, Mario, Amy, Ryan, Sarah, ; and 23 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert; sisters Elvira, Della, brother Gilbert; and parents.
A viewing will be held on Friday April 1st, 2016 from 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 2nd, 2016 at 11 AM with a half hour prior viewing. All services will be held at Mt. View Christian Assembly 8000 So. 300 E. Sandy, UT.
