Mary Jeanne Nave, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024 at the age of 81. Born to Gordon C. and Elva Green Webb, Jeanne filled her life with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to her family.

Jeanne married James Phillip Nave on April 7, 1962. During their marriage they had three children: Rodger Nave, Liam Freeman-Nave, and Patrisha Nave. In 1981 Jeanne married Charlie L. Dale and gained three step-children: Sheldon Dale (Darla), Kevin Dale, and Virginia Johnson (Jerry).

 She is survived by her cherished brother, LeGrande Webb and her sisters: Marlene Brasher (Wayne) and Dorothy Malmborg (Don); Her children, Rodger Nave, Liam Freeman-Nave, and Patrisha Nave. Jeanne left a legacy of nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

 Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Valerie Everill Dahart, and her brothers: Carl Weenig, Robert Webb, and Ken Mollerup.

Jeanne went to Granite High School, and later graduated from Murray High School. Jeanne worked most of her life as a bookkeeper and as a cashier at major department stores. She enjoyed creating artificial flower arrangements in her spare time. She was big on photographs and was never one to pass up an opportunity to take pictures. She was also an avid shopper and would often shop until stores closed.

The family is conducting a viewing to honor Jeanne’s life at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah on September 28, 2024, at 2PM with graveside services to follow at 3PM.

 Her kindness, resilience, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Jeanne will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
