Mary Marguerite Romrell Cramer passed away on April 16, 2022 in Taylorsville, Utah at Truewood Assisted Living. She was born June 6, 1931 in Rexburg, Idaho to Hyrum Burbank Romrell and Mary Webster Romrell. She married William Henry (Bill) Cramer on June 26, 1952.
Mary loved to crochet afghans and baby layettes for family and friends. (Even in her later years she crocheted a variety of hot pads.) Mary also enjoyed doing family history work. She served several family history missions; both out of state and in downtown Salt Lake City.
Mary sewed for other people, for example, their girls’ dance costumes and for fairs. She was a 4H leader. Part of the time we girls were in 4H. She loved to paint, draw. She painted portraits and landscapes. Some of her work was even displayed at local art shows. She loved to doodle while talking on the phone. She painted a picture of her grandparents from a photograph on their wedding day.
Mary loved baking bread for family and friends. Knead – knead – knead; not with a bread maker. We children would receive a portion to create with.
Mary is survived by her children, Bonnie Lee Hall, Deborah Ann Eastmond (Dan), Albert Jacob Cramer (Diana), Alba Jeanette Price (David) and Marilynn Bolton (Cliff).
Mary was preceded in death by two of her children, Yvonne Ilene Cramer and Bruce DeWayne Cramer.
