Mary Mannos

February 24, 1915 — April 12, 2018

Mary passed away peacefully on April 12, 2018. She was born to George and Evanthia Pappasideris Saltas on February 24, 1915 in Copperfield, Bingham Canyon, Utah. She married John Mannos on December 22, 1940. She is survived by her six children: Jim (Mickie), Tom (Agnes), Reverend Father Makarios, Susan, Joe (Norma) George (Marilou), nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and many extended loving family members. Preceded in death by her husband, six brothers and two sisters. Mary was a lifelong faithful Orthodox Christian. A viewing will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 6-8 at Memorial Redwood Estates 6500 South Redwood Road, with Trisagion at 7:30. Funeral services at 12 noon Tuesday, April 17 will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church 5555 South Highland Drive. Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Estates. The family would like to thank the staff at Wentworth at Willowcreek and Brighton Hospice for their loving care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Greek Orthodox Community 279 South 300 West, Salt Lake City. May her memory be eternal.
