Mary Lynne Hardy
April 6, 1947 — November 7, 2016
Mary Lynne Hardy passed away Thursday, November 17th at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born April 6, 1947 to Albert & Blanche Love. Lynne has spent the past several years struggling with diabetes. Lynne is survived by her 3 children; Kirstin (Todd) Hainsworth, Kima Hardy, and Jim (Kristin) Hardy. 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. And her brother Mike Love. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lynne’s last few years were filled the many struggles of diabetes, but prior to this time, she was full of life. Enjoying any time spent with her family & friends. When it came to her grandkids, they were the best at whatever they did. She was a very loyal supporter no matter what it was, weather it was watching little league sports, sitting through numerous dance competitions, choir performances. She even spent time in Salmon, ID watching an outdoor hockey game in temperatures way to close zero!! It did not matter what it was, she would be there, and her kids did it best!!!
She spent many years involved with the Sweet Adeline’s chorus, performing many shows and involved in numerous competitions. She traveled to many cities competing and performing at a very high level.
Lynne’s career path had many stops, from driving a forklift at Associated Foods, to being a receptionist for FHP, and the law firm Dewsnup, King & Olsen. The amazing part is somehow she must have gotten both medical & law degrees, or so it seemed, because she knew it all from answering the phones.
A Celebration of her life will be held Friday, November 25th at 11:00am. This will be held at Memorial Murray Mortuary. 5850 South 900 East Murray, UT. 84121.Service Information
