Mary Louise Healy

Mary Louise Turner Healy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on Feb. 18, 1932 and passed away Feb. 1, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 84. She was the 4th child of Fred S. Turner and Bertha May Eggett. Her sisters and brothers were Edith Shaddick, Dorothy Tippets, Jim Turner, Fred turner and Norah Toone.
She married Lowell Joseph Healy in September of 1948 and in 1976 they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years; her sisters: Edith and Dorothy; and brother Jim.
She is survived by her children: Steve Healy, and Corrinne Richards, daughter in-law Marilyn Healy and son in-law Edward Richards; Grandchildren: Michael Healy, Jennifer Wadsworth, Stacey and Bill Ross and Courtney and Brenna Richards; Great grandchildren: Marissa and Cameron Healy, Katie and James Wadsworth, Taryne and Ean Ross and Melissa and Chris Ross, and three great-great grandchildren: Dylon and Aiden Crowe, and Tristyn Watts.
Mary loved children. She raised her two children and was very involved with raising her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She taught primary for over 20 years. There wasn’t a child around that didn’t love her and she loved them. She also loved to sew clothes for her daughter and her daughter’s dolls. She also made beautiful quilts. She was a member of Delta Sigma Phi sorority. She served in Relief Society for many years. She lived in Salt Lake City and Richfield, Utah as well as Santa Maria, California. During her time in Santa Maria she enjoyed making pottery and going to the beach with husband Joe and Misty, their dog.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. (Viewing at 10:00 a.m.) on February 3, 2017 at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 S 900 E, Murray, Utah. Interment to follow at Murray City Cemetery, 5490 South Vine Street, Murray, Utah.Service Information
