Mary passed away surrounded by family on July 7, 2024. She married Clarence Carl Hanson on April 8, 1966 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was born on June 17, 1939 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Before having her own children, she was an aunt to her many nieces and nephews. This paved the way when she brought home her own children and poured her love into their lives. When she lost the love of her life in 1999. She devoted all of her time and attention in spoiling her grandchildren. They could do no wrong in her eyes. Mary completed beautician school and it was very well represented in her daily appearance. She never missed an appointment to get her hair and nails done so that she would be beautiful on dad's arm.
In her later years she continued to keep the family together by having family dinners in her home enjoying spending time, visiting and being surrounded by her loved ones. She would also be thoughtful of others. At her last birthday, her wish was to have enough cake for those around her. She made friends everywhere she went. She will be greatly missed. We love you!
She is survived by daughter, Lori Hanson, grandsons, Evan (Emily) Vance, Lane (McKenzie) Vance, Joshua Vance and granddaughter, Catherine (Joe) Feemster.
She is preceded in death by her sweetheart Clarence Earl Hanson, Daughter Lynne Hanson Birkhead, her brothers William Martin, LeRoy Hare, Chester Reno, Son Reno, Ernie Reno and sister Ruth Reno Teetzer and parents, William and Mabel Reno.
