“Together Again”
Our beloved mother, Mary E. Boggess passed away on October 15, 2016 in Taylorsville, UT at the age of 88, after a brief illness.
She was born April 19, 1928 in Salt Lake City, UT, to Ernest and Frances Kott. Mary married James Doyle Boggess on April 30, 1953. Mom loved reading, puzzles, gardening and raised 9 children. She retired from Abbott Laboratories.
She is survived by children; Don (Joyce) Bennett, Shirlene Bridges, Sharon (Chris) Sanchez, Marilyn (Bill) Agar, Alice Aragon, Jim (Donna) Boggess, Dean (Vickie) Boggess; 23 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband “Jake,” son Richard, daughter Jolayne, granddaughter Kayla, great grandson Isaac and great granddaughter Loralee.
A viewing will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 10:00 am at Redwood Memorial Mortuary 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Graveside services to follow at 11:00 am.
A special thanks to Heartwood Hospice for the care of our mom.
Mom will be greatly missed by her very large family.
