1937-2014
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend died February 11, 2014 at the Intermountain Medical Center after years of suffering with liver disease. Born April 1, 1937 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Bertram Withers and Elizabeth (nee Smart) Blake. Raised in the East Millcreek area, attending Sherman elementary, Olympus Junior High and Olympus High schools. Growing up around her uncle’s dairy farm Mary Ann always had a great love of animals and nature. Member of the LDS Church and proud of her pioneer heritage.
Soon after their marriage in 1955 Kenneth left for an LDS mission to Argentina for 3 years. Survived by her husband and love of her life Kenneth R Workman, children Dr. T. Elizabeth Workman of Rockville, MD and Blake Workman (Rosemarie) of Salt Lake., 5 grandchildren, Jacob (Jessica), Tosca (Ben Woolley), Samantha (Johnny Adams), Chloe, Mary Ann and great grandson Jackson.
Viewing to be held Friday at 11:00am at Memorial Mortuary 5850 South 900 East. Private graveside service to follow at South Jordan City cemetery.
