Mary Ahlquist

August 11, 1920 — April 16, 2015

Beth Ahlquist, age 94, passed away peacefully on April 16th, 2015. Beth was born August 11th, 1920 in Murray, Utah to Wallace and Evelyn Stauffer Farmer. She married Jack Ahlquist July 3rd, 1941 in Evanston, Wyoming. Beth was raised in Magna, Utah and lived there most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and traveling with Jack. Her flower garden and keeping a clean house was the envy of the neighborhood that she maintained until she was 90 years old. Her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She lived a wonderful life and was so thankful for what she had. She endured physical problems as a young girl, which prepared and strengthen her for the rest of her life. She had a great sense of humor and joked about living a long life while enduring smelter smoke, tailings and Magna Water.
She is survived by daughter Luane (Lee) Jensen, son Tom (Tonya) Ahlquist, daughter in-law Sandra Ahlquist, brother Darrell Farmer, sister in-law Veown Farmer, grandchildren John Thomas (Shanna) Ahlquist III, Shellise (Lynn) Webb, John Lance (Heidi) Jensen, Leane (Adam) Finkle, 11 great-grandchildren, Jenica, Thomas IV, Skyler, Jared, Brooklyn, Janelle, Lincoln, Chloe, Allie, Jack, Ahmi and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, sister Melba and brother-in-law DeWayne Thorn, brother Wally and sister-in-law Louise Farmer.
