Mary Ahalt

Mary passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on October 1, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born on October 16, 1921 in Center, Co. to Felix Rodriguez and Mary Alfonsa Rodriguez.
Within her lifetime she was married to Guadalupe Guerrero in which she had ten children and Atlee Ahalt with whom she had two children. Mary loved all her children dearly.
Mary enjoyed reading her bible, praying for others and singing. She also enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows The Price is Right, Lawrence Welk, & Wheel of Fortune but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.
Mary is survived by 10 of her 12 children: Shirley A. Burringo, Mary C. Valdez, Lupe Guerrero Jr., Mary H. Guerrero, Virgina R. Espinoza, Priscilla E. Castanuela, Hope M. Cervantez, Joe R. Guerrero, Connie C. Payan & Phillipp W. Ahalt and her brother Joe Alonzo Rodriguez. She has many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many other loved ones.
Mary was proceeded in death by two of her sons, Toby J. Guerrero and Charles D. Guerrero, her brother Gilbert J. Sanchez, her father Felix Rodriguez, her mother Mary Alfonsa Rodriguez-Garcia, grandson Joe Guerrero Jr., sister-in-law Zelma M. Rodriguez, daughter-in-law Donna Ahalt and granddaughters Tina M. Trujillo & Lisa A. Valdez.
The viewing will be held Tuesday October 8th from 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be on Wednesday October 9th at 11 am with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Both services will be held at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South Salt Lake City, Utah 84111.
Immediately following the funeral service there will be a Graveside Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on 4th Avenue and “T”street Salt Lake City, Utah 84103.
Mary will be greatly missed by all that loved her. She was a blessing to us all and will be held forever in our hearts.
