Mary A Valdez

Our beautiful mother Mary A Valdez, age 88, passed away on July 28, 2022 in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born on June 14, 1934 in Garcia, Colorado to Solomon Vialpando and Matilda Atencia Vialpado. She married Joe E. Valdez on October 23, 1949.
Her accomplishments were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mom was very loving and would help anyone who needed her help if she could. Our mother will be missed by all of us. We cannot wait to be reunited with her as she is the light of lives. Mama, we will always love you, and we will miss you so much.
She is survived by her son Solomon (Charlotte), daughters, Alberta (Marcos), Wilma (Robert), Dora, Donna (Geno), 20 grandkids, 28 great-grandkids, and numerous great-great-grandkids. She is also survived by three of her sisters.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her son, Andrew, mother and father, and her brothers & sisters.
There will be an evening viewing on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM, to be held at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah 84123. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church located at 4914 South 2200 West in Taylorsville, Utah 84129.
