Marvin Reed Taylor passed away February 12, 2018 in American Fork, Utah. He was born March 26, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Willard Fox Taylor and Rhoda Mae Reed. He married Julie Miller on November 21, 1992.
Marvin retired after 36 years with the South Salt Lake Public Works. He served as Pack Cub Master for 16+ years in the South Salt Lake Stake. He enjoyed building memories with his family. He loved camping.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Julie; children Michael (Neomilyn), Amber Clark (Jared), Rebecca Oaks (Russell) and Andrew (Trudie); brother, Reed Taylor (Marjean); sister, Annette (Jim) and sister-in-law, Marilyn Taylor; 9 grandchildren Braden, Carsten, Ashton, Hannah, Payton, Dawsen, Jonathan, Ephraim and Eben. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, his brother Ray Taylor and brother Byron Taylor.
Funeral Services will be Friday, February 16, 2018 at the North Lake 1st Ward, 828 South Center Street, Lehi, Utah 84043 at 11:00 AM. Viewings will be held Thursday evening, February 15, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay; Utah and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Interment: Holladay Memorial Park. Memories may be shared at www.memorialutah.com
