Marvin Herf Potes left this life the same as he lived it, with grace and dignity. Born August 31, 1939 in Ft. Worth Texas, he passed into eternity November 18, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents Homer Guy Potts and Sarah Sophia Fritz. He had a dry wit sense of humor that his family and friends loved.
He accomplished many things in his life, including earning a doctorate degree in political science. He served his country honorably in the US Army and worked many years as a civil servant for Veterans Affairs.
