Marva Orr

Marva J Orr passed away peacefully on October 22, 2019, four days before her 90th Birthday, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was Born on October 26, 1929 to Ezra and Francis Petersen in Draper, Utah.
Marva married William J Orr on August 25, 1950 and together they has four beautiful children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marva lived a life of complete devotion and self sacrifice in behalf of her family. There was never a birthday forgotten or special event involving her family that she did not attend. She told us all that she loved us frequently and we felt that love as we saw her continually sacrifice her time and resources for the benefit of all of us, her family. Marva’s legacy that she leaves behind will be the example she set for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of putting her family first and the needs of others before one’s own. We will miss her deeply but know that she is among beloved friends and family and that we one day be able to embrace and thank her again.
She is survived by her children; Melody(Larry) Turner, Jeri(Ron) Bell, Kelly(Cheri) Orr and Kaye(John) Alexander. Her 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Williams J Orr, her parents Ezra and Francis Petersen, and grandson Ian Williams.
A Graveside service will be held on her 90th Birthday, October 26, 2019 at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary at 11:00 am, 3115 East 7800 South Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
