Martyn Ira Grondahl

Our beloved son, Martyn Ira Grondahl, was born on June 14, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Halvard G. “Jack” Grondahl and Lorine K. Butterfield Grondahl. He passed on January 24, 2018 at his home. He is survived by his brothers; Le, Lance, and James Grondahl, sister; Mary Grondahl Norbut, nieces; Natalia Grondahl, Harleigh Mellott, and Montana K. Mellott, and nephews; Anthony Mellott, Jackson Grondahl, Garrett Grondahl, and Andrew Grondahl. He is preceded in death by his Butterfield grandparents of Salt Lake City and Grondahl grandparents of Caldwell, Idaho. Jackson always said, “He is the best uncle.” Marty was everybody’s best friend.
Services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary (6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan). Viewings will be held Monday night from 7:00 to 9:00PM as well as one hour prior to service.
