Martin Nesbitt

August 9, 1971 — July 29, 2021

Martin Robert Nesbitt, 49, of West Jordan, Utah, passed away surrounded by family on July 29th, 2021 , due to a heart attack and other complications.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Nesbitt, his parents, Robert and Sonja Nesbitt, four siblings – Scott Nesbitt, Wendy DeSpain, Angela Nesbitt and Deborah Slaughter, and their families. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Fred and Zella Nesbitt, and Richard and Adina Kretzschmann.
Martin was an Honor’s Society graduate and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Utah. He served an LDS mission to Tacoma, Washington, and loved his time sharing the gospel there. He was an accomplished artist, enjoyed playing tennis and basketball, and had a talent for computer science. His charismatic nature and hard work led to a successful and award-winning career in software sales that took him all over the country. His fearless passions for world travel, exotic animals, hiking and the outdoors led to many memorable adventures, and he loved nothing more than having his family with him to share in the fun. Though health problems slowed his body in recent years, his spirit never diminished and he met each challenge with courage.
The family would like to thank the staff at Jordan Valley Medical Center ICU for their compassionate care and tireless efforts.
