Martha Siennie Cox Fairchild

Our mother, Martha Cox Fairchild, passed away peacefully one week shy of her 100th birthday.  Martha was born in Salem, ID, living her year’s mostly in Idaho and Utah.  She was an energetic and curious woman who loved to travel, loved to garden, loved being a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, loved her church, and especially loved our father Vere, who preceded her in death in 1998.  She was accepting of all people and encouraged all of us, her children, to follow our hearts and use of our talents.  She will be missed by her many friends, family, and everyone whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her five children: Orvel, Janet, Lee Ann, Jeanine and Marlene, eight grandchildren, a dozen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11 am, viewings May 11, 6-8 pm, and 10 am May 12, all at the Centerville Seventh Ward, 270 North 300 East (enter from 400 East). Interment at Memorial Lakeview Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive in Bountiful.
The family wishes to thank, Life Care Center of Bountiful and Brighton Home Health and Hospice for their care, love and devotion given to Martha and her family over the past year.
