Martha Mary Leyba

Martha Mary Leyba, 91 years old, of West Bountiful, Utah, died in Salt Lake City peacefully in her sleep on March 24, 2024.

She was born in Trinidad, Colorado on October 31, 1932 to Esidro Juan Zamora and Rose Aragon. Martha was well known by all as a mother and grandmother. She never met a stranger. She welcomed everyone as family. She was very active in the Catholic community and donated her time to the American Legion alongside her husband Albert Joe Leyba. She worked for various different agencies. She helped people by interpreting for the State of Utah and for the Danville Services Group Home for Women. 

Martha Mary Leyba was preceded in death by Jesse Albert Leyba, Patricia Ann Littlefair, Albert Joe Leyba is survived by Laurie Bunnel, and Jerry David Leyba, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

You may visit with the family at a viewing on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary and Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah.  Graveside services immediately following the viewing at 1:00 pm.
