Martha Blackburn

Martha Viola Nation Blackburn, age 83, died on April 1, 2019 in Glendale, Arizona. She was born on January 10, 1936 in Lander, Wyoming to Alvin Delmar Nation and Mae Belle Wattenbarger. She married Amos Cowley Blackburn on March 23, 1956.
Martha was the sixth of twelve children raised on a dairy farm in Greybull, Wyoming. She had eight children, 3 girls and 5 boys. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and crocheting. She was a great gardener and the most AMAZING wife and mother.
She is survived by her children; Sheryl (Marrion) Malone of Oklahoma, Reno (Shauna) Blackburn of Utah, Alvin Blackburn of Utah, Marvin Blackburn of California, Kevin (Terri) Blackburn of Colorado, and Janet (Steven) Stratton of Arizona; 30 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Amos Blackburn; son, Stephen Blackburn; daughter, Marci Wright; daughter-in-law, Tiffany Blackburn; and grandson, Billy Blackburn.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM with a viewing at 1:00 PM at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary (3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, UT). Friends and family may visit on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the same location. Interment at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery.
