Marsha Bailey Ramsey

Marsha Bailey Ramsey, a homemaker, passed away due to health complications at St. Marks Hospital on August 2nd, 2018 at the age of 66. She was born on May 27th, 1952 to Mary and Jack Bailey in Salt Lake City. Marsha grew up in Grantsville and spent her teenage years excelling in volleyball and playing the clarinet. She married Michael Ramsey on August 17th, 1973. Together, they raised five kids, and took in foster children—which was one of her many passions. She also earned her Associates Degree in Medical Assisting whilst being a full-time mother.
Marsha is survived by her husband of 45 years, Michael; her four children: Christine Prater; Melinda Ramsey; April Ramsey; Jared (Fantasia) Ramsey; daughter-in-law, Samantha; and 8 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, David Ramsey.
Marsha touched many people’s hearts, and will be missed dearly by those who knew her. Though she struggled with several illnesses and many other hardships, she fought until the very end. She will be remembered for her never-ending love and support, as well as the strong will and unwavering strength she showed throughout her life.
A celebration of life will be held soon among family and friends.
