Mark was born June 19, 1956 to Robert Earl Robins (Bob) and Mildred Dolores Robins in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the older of 2 children. Mark graduated from Brighton High School in 1975. Not long after High school he joined the Salt Lake County Sheriffs office and served 25 years in law enforcement prior to his retirement. His years on the force were some of his proudest moments and fondest memories. Mark loved anything outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, camping or shooting his guns. He enjoyed spending time with his family and driving around in his truck. Mark passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on March 12th. Survived by his loving wife Deborah Robins; mother Mildred Robins; brother Les Robins (Wendy) as well as his children Amber Taylor (Shaun), Ashley Strottner (Zac), Chris Robins; step children Mindy Jacobson (Jared) and Casey Draper. He was the proud grandpa to three grandchildren: Alexis, Madison and Ryder. Preceded in death by his father Robert Robins. Although he was taken from us too soon his memory and strong spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Funeral services will be held at Mountain View Memorial (3115 East 7800 South Cottonwood Heights, UT) on Tuesday, March 17th at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing prior at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends may also attend a viewing Monday March 16th from 6:00-8:00p.m.at the same location.
