Mark Paxman

“Blue skies ahead, fly high!”
Mark Wayne Paxman, 82, passed away at home, his favorite place to be. He was born in SLC, UT to Frank & Harriett Paxman on April 30, 1933. He graduated from South High in 1951 & enlisted in the US Air Force. While stationed at Luke Air Force Base, in Glendale, AZ he met his sweetheart of 59 years, LuWana Naegle. They married in Tucson, AZ in 1956. Later sealed in the Logan, LDS Temple in 1962.
 
He worked as an Air Traffic Controller for the FAA for 33 years. They raised together The Paxman Girls, Harriett Bryant, Sherry (Mike) Hunsaker, Patti (Ron) Vance, Marie (Jeff) Kingsbury, Penny Paxman, and Misty (Gordon) Eyre.
 
He lived a life of exemplary service to his Heavenly Father & to others. He spent time making people laugh, loving life & enjoying his garden. Survived by his wife, 6 daughters, 21 grandchildren, & 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents & 3 brothers Frank, Dick, and Gene.
 
A celebration of his life will be on Friday Dec 18th at 11am. Viewing times are from 6-8 pm on Thursday Dec 17th & Friday Dec 18th from 10-11 am. Both services are at the LDS Church at 7265 S 2700 W, West Jordan.
