Mark Cameron Gordon

Our loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, organ and tissue donor Mark Cameron Gordon passed away on October 16, 2017 in Ogden, Utah. He was born September 9, 1980 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mark Gordon and Peggy Coomes.
Cameron married his best friend Melissa on September 8, 2007 and was excited to become a father to her son Tommy, whom he loves like his own. Shortly after that Cam and Melissa were blessed with a beautiful daughter Lila (the most amazing little girl ever). Cameron’s pride and joy were his children and his family.  He had the kindest heart and soul and was the biggest teddy bear you would ever meet. Once you came into his life, he became your protector and placed you in his heart forever.
Cam loved the outdoors and spent his time riding his motorcycle, fishing, hiking, and snowboarding.  He was an avid shoe collector and a great dancer. Cam also loved the 49ers and the Utah Jazz.
Cam is survived by Melissa Ann Fewlass (wife), Lila Ann Gordon (daughter), Tommy Lee Fisher (son), Mark (father) and Lexie Gordon, Kenny and Peggy (mother) Coomes, Blaine Beeny (father), Clayton and Corie (sister) Jones, Frank and Casey (sister) Gehring, Jacob (brother) and Kimberly Taylor, Brandy Beeny (sister), Ray and Jacie (sister) Osborne, Herbert and Lindsay (Sister) Scales, Jordan (sister) Gordon, Carson (brother) Coomes, Brady and Kailee (sister) Richie.
Cam was preceded in death by Retha Gordon, Julie Campbell, Raymond and Shirley Angle, Susan Pickett, Danny Walser, and Christopher Campbell.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:30 am on October 20th at Memorial Deseret located at 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends and family may gather at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please donate to the Cameron Gordon memorial and education fund for Lila at any Mountain America Credit Union.
