Marjorie Ruth Goff, age 77, passed away on July 28, 2022 in Heber Utah. Marjorie was born on August 22, 1944 to Everond John Marshall and Lila Pearl Wayman Marshall in Castledale, UT. Marjorie was one of five children, her being the only girl with four brothers. Marjorie met the love of her life Leon Earl Goff and they married on August 6th, 1965. Together they had 3 children Doug, Laurie and Craig. Marjorie always longed for a sister and found that sisterly bond in her longtime friend Sherma Albrecht.
The Marshall family moved from Castledale to Murray when Marjorie was 10 years old. Marjorie was a graduate of Murray High School and Murray is where they chose to raise their kids. She truly enjoyed spending time outdoors with her family. She loved camping, fishing, embroidery, quilting with her mother and watching the hundreds of ball games her kids played in. She always looked forward to the annual family reunions where she would get to spend so much quality time with her extended family.
Marjorie and Leon have spent the past 20 years doing what they love. They were campground hosts at Palasades State Park but have spent the majority of their time at Rockport State Park which is where they call home. They truly love living in the mountains and have made so many great memories and friends doing what they love.
Marjorie is survived by her loving husband Leon Goff, son Doug (Camille), son Craig (Shoni), brothers Donald, Walter & Mark, grandkids (Jason, Ethan, Derek, Tyler, Cheyanne, Taylor, Carlie & Cooper), nine great grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents Everond and Lila, daughter Laurie and brother Lloyd.
Leon and family would like to thank the staff at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Heber, UT for the care that they have provided to Marjorie this past year.
A viewing will be held on Monday August 8th at 1:30pm -2:30pm and will be immediately followed with a graveside service.
