Marjorie Kutterer

Marjorie Ellen Wolfley (69) Passed away August 15th, 2020 in Murray, Utah. She was born on August 27th, 1950. She grew up with her younger sister and brother in Millcreek, Utah. In 1968, she graduated from Skyline High School and began working as a clerk at Wycoff Warehouse for the next several years. In 1969, she met her future husband of 49 years. They married on March 6th, 1971 and raised two children together. In 1981, she returned to work at Mervyn’s Department store, where she remained until 2008. She continued to work for the next three years at Shopko before retiring in 2011. “Marge” was a devoted wife, loving mother and sister, and a genuine friend. She put others needs before her own, and was a special presence that made people aware and connected with the simple things in life. She enjoyed being in nature, taking care of animals, gardening, playing slot machines and having a cup of coffee. Although she lost so much of herself over the last few years, she never lost her essence, the ability to say “I love you,” or her faith in God.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff; daughter, Debra (Chad); son, Kevin (Dawn); Grandchildren, Jordan, Sierra and Isaac; sister, Paula; and brother, Phil (Barbara).
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Esther Wolfley.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, August 25th at 11:00 am with a viewing one hour prior at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary and Cemeteries; 3115 E 7800 S Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121.
