Herriman, UT – Marjorie Emma Buchi Bowles passed away peacefully on October 14, 2018 at home. She was born to Victor and Maud Buchi on May 23, 1925 in Twin Falls, ID. She married Julian Adelbert Bowles on June 22, 1957. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on October 15, 1963.
She worked at the Hill Air Force Base and Bowles Packaging. Her favorite career was her family. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She was blessed with spending extra time with her great grandsons at the end which she enjoyed. Kaden and Brydon were Grandma Great’s buddies.
Marjorie was active in the marching band as a majorette. She always had a love for ceramics and needlework. Everyone remembers the trinkets and artificial flowers. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she would spend hours decorating her tree. Putting individual icicles, yes one at a time, on the tree. These happy moments are ones that will be cherished. She loved all her nieces and nephews and spending the holidays with family.
Marjorie and her sister Carol spent every Wednesday they could together. Shopping and going to lunch was something she enjoyed. Marjorie and Carol are back together again. What a reunion with her parents, siblings: Keith and Carol, granddaughter Jacque and her sweetheart, Julian.
Marjorie is survived by her four children, JoAnn (Wayne) Wallace, Steven (Joy) Bowles, Terry (Barbara) Bowles, and Victor (Diann) Bowles, 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
