Marion “Tiny” Jorgensen Charlesworth

Marion “Tiny” Jorgensen Charlesworth, age 85, died on June 28, 2018, in Holladay, Utah. She was born on December 6, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jhalmer and Theresa Jorgensen. She married Kenneth “Charlie” Charlesworth on May 12, 1962.
Mom loved her daughters with all her heart and was thrilled with every call or visit. She also loved being LDS and listened to or watched every General Conference. She was so proud to be able to get her temple recommend and be able to go to the temple and be sealed to dad. She also loved to color, play cards “go fish”, and talk on the phone. She was the queen of prank phone calls until we got caller ID. Growing up she was the neighborhood watchdog, as you could not walk past our house without her hollering out her window “Who are you and what the hell do you want?” Everyone loved her dry sense of humor, teasing and jokes. You knew she loved you if you asked her to move her foot and response would be “only if I put my foot up your ass.” She was one of a kind.
She is survived by her daughters: Cathy (Rob) Robinson, Joy (Dano) Hopple, Darlene Herder, and Carolyn Sieverts; 5 grandchildren: Shaun Charlesworth, Devon (Jamie) Bell, Teera (Bryce) D’Alessandro, Kyle Tabler, and Cameron Tabler; 6 great-grandchildren: Caleb, Jade, Shyla, Landon, Mikenzy and Braden; and one sister, Ruth Benz. Marion is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Charlesworth; parents, Jhalmer and Theresa; 2 brothers: Alvin and Vernon; sister, Joyce Fullerton and grandson, Nathen Wood.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the South Cottonwood 3rd Ward, 981 East Revere Circle, Murray, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah and again one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery. Donations to help with funeral expenses can be made to Cathy Robinson.
