Our sweet mom, grandma, great grandma and great great grandma passed away at her home at the age of 84. She will be remembered lovingly and missed dearly by her children, family and friends.
She was born to Earl and Pearl Thomas on June 1 1934, raised in Salt Lake City.
MJ was an active member of the FOE and loved her lodge sisters. Her hobbies included camping, fishing, crocheting, crafting, and traveling, also she was evolved with the JC’s and Little League sports.
She is survived by her children Lynn (Karen) Beckstead, Debbie (Brent) Hatch, Brenda (Ron) Spears, Rodney (Cathy) Beckstead, Vicki Bennett, and Sheri (Craig) Wright. 23 Grandchildren, 57 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents Earl Thomas and Pearl Beckstead, brother Mike Thomas, Sister Becky Truesdell,
Grandsons Robert and Erick and granddaughters Ashley, Hope and Jordyn.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Murray 29th Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 6300 South 700 West, Murray, Utah. A visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and again Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. at the Church. Entombment will follow at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.Service Information
