Our beloved father, grandfather and friend passed away at home on May 18, 2014. He was born October 27, 1931 in Elmo, ID to Hosea Archie Jones & Blanche Murphy Bernard. Marion was a big hearted man who would help anyone who came his way. He was a hard worker and wonderful provider. We will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his siblings: Keith, Patty (Noel) Thacker, Sandy Theimann, Lyman, & John; children: Mark of Hermiston, OR, Steven of San Pedro, CA, Tami (John) Jones-Kallis of Missoula, MT; grandchildren: Nathan Jones, Leslie Durbin, Dottie Dyson, Mikie Williams, Aaron Jones, Kristen Suthers; step-children: Helen Gleason, Bella (Charles) Ulibarri, Irene Valdez, Mary (Adolfo) Hernandez, Joe (Denise) Avila; several great-grandchildren and many step-grand and great-grandchildren. He loved ALL his family.
Preceded in death by his wife, Sally; his parents; brothers Archie and Lester; sister Nancy Bell; daughter Linda Ruth Jones.
Many thanks to Bristol Hospice staff, nurse Mary Whiten, and CNA Tiffany, and Avalon Rehab Center for their loving care of our dad. Also, special thanks to Irene who has been a wonderful caregiver.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan with a viewing one hour prior.
