Marion Dee Johnson

April 24, 1939 — August 25, 2017

Marion Dee Johnson was born on April 24, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Hyrum Dee and Miriam Ainsworth Johnson.  He was born into eternal life on August 25, 2017 in Bluffdale, Utah at his home.  He married LuAnn Bradshaw Johnson on March 24, 2006.
Dee was a collector of many things.  He loved his cars, old and new alike.  He loved his family more than anything.  Dee was raised around horses throughout his life and cared for and loved them greatly.  He was seen by many as the strongest and toughest man they would ever meet. He liked country music and western movies.  He was always fair and honest to a fault.
He is survived by his wife, LuAnn Bradshaw Johnson, his sons Ralph, Larry (Cindy), Troy (Angila) and Benjamin (Amber), his daughters Kelly (Dennis) Thompson, and Laurie (Eric) McLaughlin.  He had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a special bond with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Hyrum Dee Johnson, his mother, Miriam Ainsworth Johnson, his sister Delores Miriam Johnson Moulton. A special thanks to our “Buddy” for all of his TLC.
The family would like to send a very special thank you to Barbara and Amy with Good Shepherd Hospice care.
