Marilyn Bennett Transue, 75, of Farmington, Utah, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on January 30, 2024. 

Born in Logan, Utah to James and Dolores Bennett, Marilyn was only a few minutes older than her twin brother and he loved to remind her that she was older than him. 

Marilyn married Carl on June 24, 1969. Where they had 7 children together. In 1993 they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for all eternity. 

Marilyn loved her hobbies; she enjoyed crafting, quilting, spending time outdoors and racing horses. She loved genealogy and family history, and went to Scotland to visit where her family heritage started. She loved collecting teaspoon from all the places she visited and also collecting teacups. 

Anyone who knew Marilyn knew she was the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend anyone could ask for. 

Marilyn is survived by her son Carl Nevan Transue Jr., and her 5 daughters, Sandy Jo Hansen, Cheryl Ann Winfield (Daniel), Nancy Lee Gardner (Keith), Markie Lynn Transue, and Kelly Kaye Hart (Christopher), 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Brandon and Allegheny. Her 2 brothers Carl and Marvin. 

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Carl Nevan Transue, daughter Lori Marie Transue, parents James and Dolores Bennett, sister Colleen and brother James. 

A Life Celebration for Marilyn will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the LDS Church house 825 South 50 East, Farmington, Utah 84025. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary & Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful.
