Marilyn Steffensen Ross

Marilyn Steffensen Ross 88 passed away in Cottonwood Heights, June 8, 2018. She was born November 22, 1929 in South Cottonwood. Her parents were Louis Christian and Claire Marie Walter Steffensen.
She grew up in Holladay and Boulder, Utah. She attended Holladay and Boulder Elementary Schools, Boulder and Olympus Junior High Schools and graduated from Grant High School. She also attended the University of Utah.
She married Roy Homer Ross in Salt Lake City on January 16, 1948. They moved to California in 1951. She lived in California for 49 years before moving back to Utah in 2000.
She worked for the Union Bank as a secretary in the accounting department. While working at the bank she joined the Union Bank Singers. She loved music, golfing and visiting her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis Steffensen and Marie Steffensen Hall, stepfather, Morias Hall, two brothers: Walter Staffensen and Leslie Hall. She is survived by brothers: Mack Steffensen and Joseph Hall (Kay), sisters: Marilla (Rulon) Jolley, Lila McCurdy, Sherlene Cassels, Lillian Shepherd and Arlene (John) Elmer.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Memorial Holladay Cemetery. Memories may be shared at www.memorialutah.com
