Marilyn Ann Peacock, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on Tuesday, January 9th, just before her 83rd birthday. She was born in Harrisburg Pennsylvania on February 23, 1941 to Alice Fisher and Tom Fowler. She married the love of her life, Fred Peacock on April 23rd, 1963 in Las Vegas. Together they enjoyed four decades of happy marriage until her husband’s passing. They brought two children into the world, Scott and Luke Peacock. While she was a lifelong avid reader, as a young woman she also loved bareback horse riding, organ playing, sewing, scuba diving, and camping. She lived a life dedicated to her faith.
As a retiree, she volunteered at a hospital gift shop and the local library. Across her time in California and Utah, she served on multiple church and school boards and continued that service until the end. As her family grew she welcomed her grandchildren with love and adoration. She always had encouraging words and a warm hug to give.
She is survived by her two children Scott and wife Sara, Luke and wife Janet, and her four adored grandchildren, Aidan, Elise, Veronica, and Thomas Peacock.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fred Peacock, her parents, Tom Fowler and Alice Fisher, and her brothers Robert and Tom.
