Marilyn Jackson Hill

Marilyn Jackson Hill age 70 passed away December 16, 2016 after a 2 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born June 21, 1946 in Salina, Utah to Thelma Forsyth and Jay Worth Jackson. She grew up in Kearns, Utah and graduated from Granger High in 1964. She married Larry J. Hill on November 6, 1964 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They lived their married life in Taylorsville, Utah and raised 3 children there.
She helped Larry run the Arctic Circle that they owned; she was a licensed Real Estate Agent and never met a craft she couldn’t tackle. She loved her dog Sammy, traveling, and spending time with family. She was a talented artist and loved gardening.
Marilyn is survived by her mother; Thelma, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, her children; Roni (Taz) Smith, Robert (Jeannie) Hill, and Jana (Aric) Muhlestein, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren as well as many loving in-laws and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband of 52 years.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21st at 2:00 p.m. with a receiving line an hour and a half before the service at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery on 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
